Ah! Scarlett it's another day.

You'll find from time to time my making a comment about Scarlett and it being another day. It's a saying I've developed for when I'm really down to get me through...similar to Scarlett O'Hara's saying. I've grown accustomed to the thought, so I use it whenever, now.

Something I learned today about the color Violet, which up to now, Purple shades have not been a favorite for me. In the latest edition of First Magazine I found this... When you are fresh out of ideas.. "quick, look at something Violet" It seems Chromotherapy experts ( wow didn't know about them) say that the " electromagnetic frequency" of Violet ups production of Oxytocin, a hormone that aids in creativity. Something about it being 50% shade of Red, which stimulates the logical left side of the brain and 50% Blue, which activates the intuitive right side. it says looking at something Violet will make your results unique and effortless. Darn! I guess I should paint my Scrapbook room Violet...that should get me out of any SB slump. For now, I'm looking through my paper stash for some Violet paper that I can keep nearby for a quick look when I'm stumped at what to do.

And, there is a word that will stop emotional eating...yup just say one word and the lbs can start dropping off. It's doing this word that will stump you. It's called"HALT". Just say it and you are supposed to rethink eating that candy bar or overeating. It's an acronym for Hungry, Angry, Lonely or Tired. Your supposed to say "Halt" and then think and check your reason for over indulging. Halt, Halt, Halt nope, it's not working, "Gimmee that Milky Way and you won't get hurt"

It's an interesting magazine and does have a few cool thoughts.

Last year my laptop bit the dust and they wanted $900 to fix it. So, today TN. was having it's "no tax" day and I figured maybe this would be a good time to get a new laptop. Especially since I'm just getting over 6 weeks of computer withdrawel. (Those who didn't know I was away for 6 weeks with out a "puter" of my own and I doubt if I'll ever get over the shock.) What did we ever do without TV, Puters and Cell Phones, oh yes and Latte. If I never had gotten used to them I would have been fine, BUT. I'm now the owner of a new computer with updated graphics etc. which as we speak my in house Geek is setting up with all the drivers etc. that I will need to run my software. Now I will have to get used to the chinks of Vista and keep remembering, Scarlett, when I begin to loose my cool.

Another good thing to come out of this is I will finally clean up my hard drive and portable hard drive and put my SB files and kits on CD's. Yeah, Right! Me getting organized. Funny the longer I'm away from an 8-5 normal job the worse I am getting about that. The one thing I do try to keep up with is my scrapbook obligations to Terrell. I think of this as a job I took on, even though it's one I enjoy doing. I'd still like to be organized so I could easily find the files I need.

But...... Scarlett Tomorrow's another Day.
