wow whole week has passed

I can't believe I haven't blogged in a week. Jim is on his way home at last. Most things at home are normal again. I've been very active running here and there with Joyce and some of my other lady friends. One of them has been getting MRI's in Dickson so Joyce and I have been accompanying her. Most days Joyce and I go to lunch at one of the local restaurants. I also have a little job. Joyce and Rob have three Shitzus- Meila, Lin and Montana and like my three kitty children are spoiled. I've fallen for the three of them and they have taken to me too ,so Joyce asked me if from time to time if I would "babysit" them. They are no problem and are wonderful. I just love the way they look at me cocking their little heads as we converse. They have gone from barking at me when I come to visit to jumping for joy and loving at me.

We have a new restaurant in town, an Italian one and get this run by Mexicans. LOL We tried it last night. Sorry, not good reviews from us. You have to realize I don't think there are very many native Italians around so unless you really know what an Italian restaurant should serve, people here in the south are not good judges of that type of cuisine. In short not someplace to write home about. But hey this comes from a Yankee. But one that grew up with all Italian friends and one special one like a sister who I just about lived with all through high school and believe me back then I lived, ate and dreamed Italian so I consider myself a good judge of Italian food. One thing though where ever you are from that is the cuisine that you are used to, so I'm sure the people here wouldn't like my idea of Italian food either.

On the scrapbook level our Tracy in Australia is back and will be putting out those wonderful layouts again, soon. I have done only one LO myself in the past week with Terrells Remiss kit
