OMG I've turned Green

OMG I'm green with envy. Susan got her bike yesterday. We had stopped into the water dept. to ask how she liked her bike, as we thought it had come in last week. It hadn't, the one that came was for her friend, Grady. (the 150 Duke) While we were standing there Mac (Susan's honey) called, the truck was at Wal-Mart's and heading to her house. And Boo Hoo Susan was working but Mac was home waiting. After having a cool chat and learning we had more in common besides bikes...cats and horses etc, when we were leaving she suggested we go to her house and see the bike which we did. We arrived just as Mac and the driver were uncrating "her". Oh cool now we know what to expect. Joy of joys I was thrilled watching the unveiling and wishing I had a camera. "She" was surrounded by a metal frame, cardboard. packing material and her trunk was in a box inside. Sadly the trunk did get damaged and will be taken care of by the shipping people. We were in time to help Mac take the metal frame apart and lift the bike out. Oh wow! She was beautiful and all together mechanically except for the mirrors, windshield and trunk. So Jim got to help Mac set "her" up and get the experience he will need when mine comes. Susan got the red one and oh now I wish I did. A beautiful red maybe a little candy apple but not the Honda Red like I had. It's a deep red but not purple red. Oh well I still love black so I'll be thrilled anyway. Jim remembered his phone and used it to take some photos. That's Mac adjusting mirrors on the bike. I don't think the photo shows how beautiful that red is at all.
All in all an interesting day. Jim and Mac have Ham radios in common and Susan and I cats so now we have some new friends in the bargain. We exchanged telephone numbers etc.

I don't know how I'll stand it now the wait is killing me and I found out it hasn't shipped yet. It will be at least 6 days after that e-mail comes before "she" if it is a she gets here. Maybe the green will fade by then. Meanwhile I'll have to think of a name for 'it'. I do name my "things" LOL jeep is already named "Her's" so it will need another name.
