I've only had two chats with her and have waved and thrown kisses at her the past few days. Poor, poor, Baby. I've had to tell her she won't be home till either next Wed. night or Thursday. She speaks perfect English and I have my doubts if she knows she came from China. I received her title and bill of sale today and just about choked. All other paper work till now said the make was a Lansing and the Model a Duke which to me was fine......the title calls her a 250T-B and her make ZhongNeng. No way Jose there is no way I'm telling her that. It makes her sound like a test tube baby. ZhongNeng ! Imagine the motor vehicle place when they see that. Thank goodness there are about 5 or 6 "test tube babies" already in town and registered so it won't shock their computers to type it in. ZhongNeng my butt! She's an American now and she's a Lansing and she's a she not a Duke, so Baby it is.
Most people here probably don't realize those Yamaha's and Honda's are made there too and probably by the same company. But, her title says she is a motorcycle not a scooter...that comes in the CC part she's a 250CC well she's really 249.7 CC's but hey whats .3cc's amongst friends. So I'll be an official MotorCycle Momma again, LOL . My late husband used to refer to me as PC Precious Cargo when I rode with him on our bikes.....I could call Baby...Prescious , we'll see. Funny I thought of that...he never called me by my name always PC tee hee and that was before the other PC's became popular. During that time we lived, and breathed cycles...it was our life..Yup I was a Motorcycle Momma morning till night. Oh dear! Do I now have to be a Motorcycle Gramma? Nana or Granny? Oh dear heavens!
Well , just waiting on Jim to come home... and my helmet..already have a motorcycle license. Hmm maybe leather pants or chaps for Winter oh yes and I want those fingerless gloves too. Whoo hoo. The next photo's should be of her trip to the country...her first breath of country air.....so see she's American, her first breath will be here at home...her getting dressed and her first steps.
later....
PPS my helmet came by FedX this afternoon. The roses are pink and it has three other decals that say Lady Rider on it also air vent on top and in the front which is another reason I picked it. When jim comes home I'll have him take a photo with me on baby in gear. LOL
