I ended up putting on my old glasses from 20 years ago. LOL I can still see with them..they are glass and photo grey and large...keeping the air and dirt out of my eyes. They aren't quite pilot glasses but close. I used to ride with then back then and I guess they will work for now too. My regular glasses are tri focal and I thought I'd go nuts with them.
I'm still not ready for the real road ...yet so I'm going to go to the high school parking lot so I can practice some circles..stops and starts. I feel so weird now that reality has found me. I was dreaming of riding for weeks but now it is here and I'm the biggest chicken. I guess their was a reason my first bike had 100 miles and maybe 50 of them mine and my scooter had less than 50. Was I nuts to think that now 20 years later I was ready to jump right in all over again? I can do it I know I can. LOL One thing I was really surprised at was Jim and I took her down the rode two up. I was still a nervous wreck. She still has the power to hold the both of us. That's another thing she has more power than I'm used to. My Honda Elite of 20 years ago did not jump up and take off like this. The 400 did but the scooter didn't. Oh Boy! Second childhood. Phew!
