it out of the corner of our eye while we were crusin the town. Stillwater is a college town so there is the crux of it. A coffee shop is quite at home in that atmosphere and so was I. They have developed a way to really dress up your latte, if you get one to drink there, in a large cup. It is an art...they put the lattee in first and very slowly pour the steamed milk into the cup forcing the dark coffee color to the top and then just about to the top they pour it in faster moving the pitcher in a squiggle motion and voila a design is formed on top. A
scrappers delite a fern like element is drawn on the top of the crema.. Well, you know I was in my glory seeing that. Joyce and I are forever commenting about our cappucinos as to whose looks better as they usually squiggle chocolate on top in a design for us. Well I think I beat that today...my lattee was just beautiful...check it out
see how cute, a little element.
The photos are a little lopsided as I was trying to save space and cut them down from over 1.26mb quickly. The other photo is at Tinker Air Force Base which we went to on Thursday. I didn't take it till we were leaving otherwise I would have gotten some good ones from the park where they were displaying the planes. My back was hurting and my hip killing me
so I did it rather hurriedly. Next time we will get more.I'm getting to like Oklahoma more and more. At least when Jim has time to do some extra things with me. Lets see a nice restaurant...Pauline's Supper Club, Coffee, Aspen Coffee Co. Tinker Air Force base and nice people Terri and her husband Brian and my new found Cousin( well we share the same name, LOL so who knows) Brenda and her husband Rick. Who btw we had coffee and "do Nots" with on Saturday at the donut shop. This trip has proved most interesting.
I would say that latte made me in a creative mood so I did a few more LO's with one of Tracy's kits Lazy Sundays.
