We went deer Hunting,yeah right

It's deer hunting season and we got our first, today...read on

Shadow just loves to watch the fireplace. It is a gas one we had installed a few years ago and her keen hearing can hear it just before it comes on. it must be the clicking of the igniter. She sits there and waits for the heat and flame to show and it really is funny to watch.

This AM we, for the first time in either of our lives, got up at 3 to join in on Black Friday Sales. We went to Dickson but when we got there at 4:30 you could not get a parking spot anywhere for the 5 AM sales. So we went to Dunkin Dounuts to drown our sorrow in coffee and donuts. I had their cappuccino and I was amazed at how good it was. We wanted a special thing that our Wal-Mart didn't have in stock.

On the way home we figured we would stop at ours anyhow...and now I wish we had done that first..disregarding what the fool in the electronic dept. said. Just before we got into Waverly a deer attacked the jeep. I told Jim," well it 's deer hunting season and we got our first..without firing a bullet." We didn't think we had any damage but in the light we found the front fender all bent and the rear fender wing cracked.

Back to why we went in the first place. We wanted to get Shadow the CD of the burning fireplace. So we bought it and then had to get her a TV to watch it on.....CD $5.00 TV $588  Cat Pricelsss.

Yeah and I have a bridge for you to buy too.  I've been hoping for a flat screen TV to replace our 12 yr old bulky Zenith. Wal-Mart had them from $388 and up this AM. The best of course and most expensive is the 1080 and it's usually on sale about $900. They were having Poloroids 42" 1080's for $588. I should have asked if they were rainchecking since the truck didn't come in with them, but instead we went to Dickson thus we got the deer.

Anyway,  the jerk we talked to yesterday didn't even know they were going to have a substitute TV. Just as we came in the door they were bringing out 42"RCA's for $598 and the 1080 definition soooooo of course we bought it to go with Shadow's CD of the fireplace.

I really felt bad about the deer but they are the stupidist animals when it comes to road crossing. So this Christmas it was Grampa running over the reindeer instead of Grandma getting run over by the reindeer.

And even some scrapping was done....
