I used a page from Renny's Country and the wreath from the kit plus the TOTD from the group added sparkles to give the hangover effect.I hope this isn't me tomorrow. Today is Joyce's Christmas party. Coctails and some yummies. I don't drink like I did when I was a kid as this is exactly how I get with only two drinks.
I've been trying to catch up on some mail and I really have to do some more scrapbook LO's. Tracy will be uploading a new kit to work on soon and I want to make sure I get to it ASAP.
Jim said he isn't much in the holiday mood and I think it's because of the weather. Cold and rainy the past week. Today it was 65 go figure but they are saying it will be cold again tonight,. Good weather to get sick with. I can't believe he is even thinking of not putting up our tree and instead getting the rinky dink tree from the RV and using it. I must admit it sure would be less fuss. But poor RJ wouldn't enjoy his first climb.
Tracy and T will be over tomorrow to pick up our couch. I can't sit on it as it is too soft for my hip. I sink in and can't get up. I feel bad as it only 3 years old and in excellent shape, but I feel good as I know they can use it. I will bring the sleeper sofa we brought with us out of the spare room and use it. It has to be 20 years old but it was my Aunts and she only bought the best so it has lasted and it is firm which is what I need. It should look Ok with Jim's chair as his chair is light chocolate and the couch is a gold/autumn type print. I have to do something. Besides it now leaves storage space in the guest room which can be turned into a dinning room to make more kitchen room LOL. Always thinking. No matter how much space I have it is never enough for a family of pack rats.
