time goes so fast

Jim got home the end of January and we had a lot of things going on so posting just slipped away. I have still been making tags and trying to learn new graphic ideas and I'm afraid my scrapbooking has taken a back seat. I've spent most of the time designing tags and like I said learning new things with PSP. I'm going to post some of them as jpegs and not as the gifs that many are as well lets face it I'm too lazy to transfer them to Photobucket and wait forever to transfer them.

We have been trying it seems forever to what I call Unload the motor home. The market has been very bad  but we were recently able to do it. I so feel bad as this means I can no longer go with Jim on his many trips..at least not the long ones since we are unable to travel with all the kitties. I am going to miss it but not going to miss the large payment we had on it. This means we do not have to struggle any more and in these times it's what we need. I think in tiome we will do something else like maybe a travel trailer or a 5 th wheel as this would be more practical. The thing jus sat here for 6 months out of the year and this wasn't good for the engine or anything else. A 5th wheel or travel trailer sits anyway so it's like I said more practical so we will see.

There hasn't been much going on here on the ranch. We are looking to plant this spring and T will come over with his tractor and do some work turning up the field. I'd like a small garden with just enough veggies to get by and not that much to cause a lot of work.

It will be something to keep me busy if Jim has to lengthen his Oklahoma stays. I guess FEMA and the state are going to help out with all the flood damage out there so the RR can get back to business doing more than just storring cars...not that that's so bad as it is bringing in a hell of a lot of $$.

Jim and I do plan on taking a small side trip the end of April to The Chicago area. It is time for his usual re testing for the Illinois RR Museum but different this time as we will drive and stay in a motel. Maybe this time I will also get to see downtown Chicago... a long time promise that hasn't been able to be kept. He has to take this test at least every two years. He took it last year but next year is my 50th reunion so he has to take it this year as we will be in CT next year at that time.

We have been having guests lately at our Bed and Breakfast which I am dubbing our little ranch. Tom our outside border has been coming in to visit his friends. Pud still will not come into the house and opts to stay in her appartmenteven with coaxing. Anyway Tom visits the others walks the house then lays down for a nap. Upon awaking I gently nudge him back to his shared dwelling with Puddy. RJ really enjoys his visits, Shadow watches as though aloof but secretly has a crush on him and TJ and Chessie ignore him completely.

here are some of the newest creations.
