Jim has bought me a new computer. whoo hoo! LOL So far it has taken him since three this afternoon and we are still setting things up. I never realized just how much 'crap" I had saved. Thank goodness most is saved on external drives, so its just software I have to play with. I can do most at my leisure as long as I have my PSP and my Incredimail loaded. It seems I live in those. We also got my PSE5 on here but not my PSC3..yet. I am noticing some things missing from my blog and not sure how I had them set so that will take some messing around with. My tags have gone on this computer...nope they are back.
Anyway I have a new Dell desktop Inspiron 530 3 GB of memory 500GB hard drive 22 inch flat panel monitor and Vista headaches. LOL. At least lap top and desktop now match so once I'm used to it I won't get confused jumping between computers. It's even jumping with Hughes Net Satellite faster than the other one. Poor ole HP Jim and I figure she was over 5 years old. But the old girl isn't retired as she has moved across the room to act as server one of these days. But she replaces Jim's ancient machine. He usually runs to at a time. LOL So do I at times . I have my Laptop in the living room and at times run from room to room changing mail programs and Yahoo. I think we will let Jim have my laptop to replace his laptop when it goes.
To get this baby we gave up our carport..figuring we have done without it for 4 years now a few more months wouldn't hurt. Where as my computer was acting up daily and I am on it more than 6 hours a day sooooo computer one out.
It's now almost midnight and we are still setting her up but while files are transferring I'm getting to play with her.
I did manage to do a few LO's this time for Terrell and yes I know Tracy I owe you some too. I'm trying girls. Maybe now with this baby I can do a few more with out having to reboot 50 million times a day.
Still doing tags and also testing Incrdimail Stationery for CreativeMinds. A lull on that at the moment and I'm doing class work. I need to learn how to use FrontPage first to continue with it. I'm working harder at this than I did at work.
Talked to my "bud" Joanne who is living in New York. She just had a completer hystrerectomy removing a 5lb. tumor the size of a loaf of bread. Happy to report no cancer was found and she was in for one day and sent right home. Amazing...but she will be on the mend for about 3 months. She also had a throat scope which also showed no cancer so we are extremely blessed.
Well Ok time to work some more on transfering.
