Almost Tuesday

This is the tutorial for Tuesday. I like the looks of it but changed it to includes a photo from the docks in Clinton and titled it beachnuts Memories of Home. For the past few years I have struggled with Adobe PSE5 trying to learn  how to make certain elements to come out just right to no avail. And Viola! along comes Ambowife with her faithful use of Paint Shop Pro (which I've had for years BTW) and says try it for designing. Well I struggled for a while and followed her lead with a couple of groups with tutorials and was led to PSP Times Three a group of taggers. I'm finding all kinds of goodies and all kinds of filters to use with it..similar to actions in PSC3 and tonight I learned how to make twine and to use a filter for burn edges instead of fighting with them like I used to. Simple as pie. Anyway this was tonight's effort.

As to personal things...

Jim will be home tomorrow and it seems like he has been away for a month. I'm so looking forward to his return. I'm still walking and plan on keeping it up when he gets back. This early morning mile walk has boosted my morale and I'm starting to feel like my old self again or should I say new self. Don't see a big weight loss but things are fitting me better so it's shifting. LOL

We had a semi sleep over tonight. Tom and Puddy were in the house for about 4 hours napping. TJ, Tom and RJ all shared the sofa with me. The girls Puddy, Shadow and Chessie were in various chairs. About 10 though Tom and Puddy announced they would like to leave so out they went. It's a start anyway. I'm hoping that next winter they will trust me enough to stay in during those bitter nights. Puddy is making progress about coming in when I open the door now instead of running away. She walks right in. Tracy (neighbor) and I took her to the Vet last Tuesday and had her wormed and had tick medicine put on her. She is perking right up and even looks forward to a brush and petting. Now remember this is the stray who is deathly afraid of people, but who has the hear of gold that brought Tom to us when he was torn up with abscess a year ago. Amazing to see her coaxing him out of the woods to the porch and trusting us with his care..  Any way progress is being made with the taming. Tom never had the problem and is thrilled to come in and check us out when ever the door opens. Yup everyone needs 6 cats. I guess they are ours for sure...poor little things.
