What does a scrapbook kit designer do?

Can't say it better   Check the link         http://theespressoscrapshoppe.blogspot.com/2009/08/this-ones-for-us-cause-we-deserve-it.html     The Espresso Shop's August 5th edition.     Can't say it better. My friend Terrell has a new blog The Espresso Scrap Shoppe

She's still setting the design up but I do love it. As to my comment you have to check it out.  Terrell is a great designer as well as my friend Tracy AKA  Ambowife who also has a new blog  Ambowife Designs.,
I'm not in their league as far as designing for a store but people will ask "What do you Do" and this describes just what a designer in this line does.

Like I said I do not design for a store but I do design more in a private sector and for USRP. I have sort of taken a side road and have gotten into a sideline of "the taggers" but that doesn't mean I will not get back to designing my kits again. The way Terrell explains a designers role hits it right on. There is so much involved to get that final product out to the public....it is by no means a hobby it. my friends it is a lot of WORK. The best perk is it's a job or enterprise that can be done at home..but you still have deadlines to meet..similar to a publisher.

These two girls live and breathe DESIGN while  I do  design kits and offer them up , they are mostly for myself but I design Layouts ..scrapbook pages and tags plus other things I just haven't jumped into their realm..there are times that I'd like to but other times I'm content at working at this pace where I don't have their stress. Mine is still a hobby..well mostly except when I'm doing Jim's things or LO's for others then it can get more stressful. After being in a stressful job for years I don't know about jumping into that pool again.

But her article says it all..What do you do?    Me right now I'm content in my area of design.
