Wow my last real blog was way back in March. Time goes by fast when your having fun and when your old. LOL
Lets see not sure if I blogged about having a new job or not. I do right up my alley too work when I want and when I'm needed and since I'm doing it just for spare cash and fun it works for me.
The reunion went well had a blast and got to see old friends. Got my fill of the food I craved too. Jim has been busier than a one armed paper hanger in Oklahoma. About 5 coal trains a week plus what they have to do on the BNG. They are also working on a contract in PA and I just finished the logo for that. I've been doing tags whenever I can. for PSPX3 and a few scrapbook pages too.
Tracy and I have been working on gardens both of us have put in some above ground ones so hopefully we will have some great veggies come July or August.
The girls are doing OK despite a round of lice on Molly..poor little thing. Tracy wormed her and Lady with Ivermectin and we sprayed both down with fly spray that also takes care of lice.
Jim and I also took a trip to Union, IL to the RR museum they had a WWII re enactment this past weekend that was super cool. I also got to meet one of his daughters and her husband Alan and children Lauryn and Briggs. We had some lunch and walked around a bit then they walked me back to the truck while they spent more quality time together. It has been about 10 yrs since Jim saw them. I 'm still unable to keep up did so till I couldn't anymore.
I ran into these photos of Lady thought I'd post.
I almost look like I know what I'm doing LOL. you can see my little Ass ( LOL) Molly in the background she follows Lady around like glue . I guess if we ever get a trailer we need a three horse slant as Molly will also have to come along. I think I might be able to train her to pack...which would be super cool if we ever went camping with them. I would love that...as close to being a cowboy (person) as we can get. LOL that was the day I did my magic slo motion dismount too. The saddle wasn't tight enough and saddle and I slid off when I went to dismount. That was before surgery and I couldn't get my leg over the saddle..not used to how tight the saddle should be we didn't tighten enough. Lady true champ that she is just stood there never flinched.
