Well, Jim has gotten off for the trip to Oklahoma and his probably 3 week work stint. The kitties were very upset, especially Chessie, as they love to go, but the last trip he had trouble withthe brakes in the RV and they still need to be fixed. So, without a place for the "family" we have to stay home. The company does have a house there that the guys stay at while there and he will have some company from time to time. It just doesn't come at a good time since I have just gotten back from my 6 weeks away.

I found a way to cool the house a bit as it seems the inner windows were all open with just the storms closed. I went around and closed them all and closed all the blinds and found the temp dropped immediately. It's supposed to be another scorcher today, at least that's what the Cicada's are saying. The rubbing of their legs is all you hear outside. Pud Pud is lying under the picnic table in the shade, but I'm sure before long she will go to where ever" stray kitties go to keep cool. She really is a dear kitty. Most of the year I try to hang my clothes out on the line..saving a buck.. but mostly I enjoy the smell of nice air dryed clothes. It's a smell that says "home, Granny and peace", to my mind. Granny always hung laundry out and so did we. There wasn't such a thing as washing machine or dryer back then, only well to do people had them. We were just comfortable. The largest and heaviest clothes were done at the laundramat while blouses and cotten skirts, crinolines etc were hand washed starched and hung. Any way I regress Pud Pud loves for me to do laundry and hang it. It seems to be her job to supervise ...putting up and taking down of laundry. If she sees me she comes running meowing and purring hen she rubs herself inside out around my legs as I hang the clothes. My three will sit out on the screened porch just watching. They feel no need to help and no threat from Pud Pud. She is just there and accepted.

Well today I hope starts my creative period 2-3 weeks of it, as I try to catch up on my designing and scrapping. I also have to organize my files and save to CD's and DVD's. I did start to clean up my K drive( external drive) a bit the other night. I've managed to do a few of the QP's
(quick pages) that I have promised to do. I'm having problems with that as the way I scrap the picture sets my mood and LO so do do one based on a hole is not in my nature. I've been reviewing my LO's those not with a template (which I've only done a few of) to get some ideas.

Jim and I have dropped Earthlink now so our web page has disappeared but he already has a domain for my Beachnut's Creations which once we get the server and host set up I will have something else to work with. It's been quite a while since I've had to play with the inner sanctum of computers and software and I'm having to learn all over again some of the ways to sneak in and tweak. Jim has all his computer techie books still locked away in the storage trailer and so much has changed that when he gets back we will pay a visit to Books A Million and the "puter" section as we need newer books on Html and Web design. My buddy Tracy came to my rescue last night as I had to do just that with this blog. So between the three of us the blog got tweaked and things added. Some you won't see as they are the hidden things that make the things you see work. LOL. Such fun. If CRS doesn't set in I'll feel productive again. These are some of the things I had to do at work, once in a while...tech support and I were on first name basis once I got over the fear of doing things like that.

Well I guess that's enough chatting. I just might be back to post some more tonight if I get some LO's done. The QP's are just for TerrellS.

Hey notice I have my blinkies working and you can see two of them are for TerrellS...remember her? I talk about her all the time..she's my mentor and kinda Tracy and my boss (in a way) but mostly the three of us are friends. I use those blinkies on sites where I post (which will be added on here shortly) so people will know that the work I'm doing is done with TerrellS kits. That's what a CT does...designs LO's using kits from certain designers. I get to use some terrific kits, that she designed and she gets to have people see just what you can do with a TerrellS kit. Kool, huh? She designed the TerrellS blinkies ( beachnut999 and TerrellS) and I did the BeachnutCreations, and I love my Engineer one. It was a lot of fun.

OK, OK I said I was going and I am.
