More heat and humidity

Terrells DaBlues kit

This is just terrible another day without relief. I don't think this room can get any hotter. I still haven't got all my things transfered to the new laptop so I'm still in the SB room dying of the heat. Jim and I did our usual and went to the coffee shop. I'm into cold drinks till the weather clears so I'm going through caffeine withdrawal. I'm feeling very sorry for our stray, Pud Pud who eats and visits here, as she just lies there and pants. She does have secrent places she goes to lie down but I don't think they are any cooler. I tried to lure her into the house but she'd have no part in it, so she's on her own. I keep her water bowl filled and changed and I guess that's all I can do. I've told my three furbabies that they don't know how good they have it.

My friend Terrell keeps digging it in with her "secret" announcement and I'm sure she's doing it just to me and on purpose. She is supposed to be announcing something big tomorrow or Thursday. So, you scrappers better keep an eye out on her blog, I know I will.
I did manage another page last night. I labeled it USS Kentucky and now I'm having doubts that it was the Kentucky it might have been another submarine but oh well! It's done now. It was David and it was the boat he was serving on. It was back sometime between 1989 to 1992 or so give or take and David's sub had gone to the North Pole coming up through the ice. The guys all got to go out on the ice. At the about same time a Russian sub came up and the men played games on the ice together. I had seen it in the paper and then David wrote and told me about it. All that can be seen is the fair weather planes sticking out of the ice. I made the background of one showing the men faded out and put the close up of David on top using Terrell's DaBlues kit I love simple, as can be noted in most of my work and this one is just that. The colors were perfect for that cool look of cold, snow and ice. The journal on ice blue vellum. I always save in jpeg and pdf so I can redo the name if I need to (If David screams about it not being the Kentucky) The thing that made me doubt it was the fact that in the picture he doesn't look like he has a mustache and I remember him having one on the Kentucky. Of all his submarines served on the Kentucky was my favorite as I always pronounce it the way Daniel Day Lewis does in last of the Mohegans....Kan-Tuck-A (long A sound.)

Who knows maybe more later.........

Don't worry Doreen she is teasing everyone, I'm getting it too, she's having too much fun doing it LOL. But sounds like it is something very exciting, we'll find out soon enough though I guess!! Poor Pud Pud, sometimes they don't know what's good for them the Kitty's, I hope the weather cools for both you and Pud Pud!! you might need to have iced coffees, to fight the withdrawals while it is so hot and humid Hun!!
Love that LO, Snow Volley Ball too funny!! Bet they didn't do it in Short like Beach Volley Ball. I can just picture it like a scene from Top Gun!!! All those Rippling Abs with Goosebumps!! LOL!!
