Mystery Admirer

I started off my AM with a trip to The Coffee Cabinet and you won't believe this one, I'm still LMAOROTF. I just got a telephone call from the owner of The Coffee Cabinet, Leeanne and she tells me that some guy who sees me come in there wanted to buy me a gift certificate for $40.00. Me, being the big doubting Thomas just laughs at her and I tell her No, I can't accept that...I'm a married woman. She then says I have to as it is paid for. Of course then I start the 20 questions on who would do such a thing.. She goes on to say this "guy" just thinks I'm beautiful and wanted to do this and he didn't care that I was married or not, my husband could share this and on and on. He just felt like doing it because I was beautiful. She then says she'll point him out to me if he's there when I am.

Of course the detective in me starts to try to figure this one out. .. and I always do btw. Common sense would say this is hooey and usually I'd agree but it 'Has" happened to me before, believe it or not. Now mind you I've had drinks bought for me, but that was at least 30 years ago and about 14 years ago a guy who went to the same bank kept asking the girls there about me, so there could be a mystery admirer. But at my age? Well guys, you would have to know my Mom, bless her soul, There was always a man chasing her. I couldn't go to the mall with her and leave her sitting anywhere because by the time I got back she would have at least two men cozying up to her. I kid you not...in her 80's she was still drawing men like flies. I'd calmly walk up..take her by the arm and say..."come on dear, it's time to go back to the home..." She would sputter at me and off we'd go... I think my Mom collected men. Her attitude on them was a bit Maxineish though. As to collecting men.....I admit my track record just about equals hers...and I collected mine much quicker....LOL but, that was because I hadn't met Mr Right. There was no Mr. Right for Mom, but that's a story for a book, you know that book I should write.

So Mr. Admirer, How long do you think it will be before I figure this one out or did I do it within a few seconds. I just might never tell as we all need a little spice in our life, but my spice is in Oklahoma right now and he's all the spice I need.

Well, I almost didn't blog today as it was so hot and I really didn't have anything good to talk about but I guess the above changes that. Now will I tell DH, I don't think I'll have to. BTW he's the prime reader of my blog.

I did scrap one last night and I did one of Terrell's freebie QP's designed by Tracy this AM and so far only posted one. I figure sometime when it cools I'll do some more. All seems to be quiet Tracy is probably just getting up in Tomorrow land and I'm sure Terrell is working hard....she always is.

Me well like I said, I'll do more later but now I'll just think about having $40.00 worth of coffee.
