Finally

I think I said that once already but this time it's true. DH just called to tell me he and Scott have made the final delivery of the RR car in Wellington ,KS and were getting something to eat before heading back to Blackwell,OK. He said he's going to pack up and get out of Dodge as soon as he gets there...unless he's too tired. If he leaves tonight he'll just pull in to a rest area as needed for a few hours snooze. So after just about 4 weeks he's coming home. If all goes well he'll be home sometime tomorrow afternoon. Instead of leaving to go back right away we'll have the RV fixed and put off going back to Blackwell for a week. Unless we decide different. There are a few things I'd like to do before going besides getting the RV ready to travel.

I've figured a quick fix for the bedroom remodel till we can afford to do what I really want. There is a panel around the room at chair rail hight of a green white and maroon pattern (that I hate) I'm going to paint it a reddish color and then put on a glaze and either sponge it or use a woodgrain tool on it. This with a matching curtain treatment Pillows and a new bedspread should hold me over. The wall board in here is a kind of grayish white and I think I can hold off paining it for a bit longer with that fix. I'll need to scrap that when I get going. What I intend on is a cottage style when we're ready. The art work consists of coastal pictures my Mom painted in blueish gray colors with faint touches of that red. Jim also has a nice oil of a lighthouse that will be in here. So it will have a New England cottage look, hopefully when done. LOL When we get back I hope to get my closet done and the trim finished so we can get into the holidays in comfort.

No scrapping today maybe by Tuesday I'll have my MOJO back. I'll be getting a few new kits from Terrell to try out and since I'll be in a better mood with Jim home I think it will get accomplished.
