I've been a little lazy

I guess I've been a bit lazy, at least when it comes to my posting. I'm also not in such a good mood. Jim started for home Thursday and then called me about two hours later and said he was heading back to Blackwell. It seems no one else would volunteer to come down and help out as conductor so Jim being the good guy that he is said he would come back when they asked him. So putting personal obligations behind he went back. So there went my nice dinner I had planned for Friday, the play for Saturday night and the Loboville Fair. He had been hoping to finish on Friday and head home, but Murphy's Law struck again and they had to put off bringing the train down till this AM at 4:30 which means he won't be home till late on Sunday. Geez Louise it's been 3 weeks going on 4 now since he's been home. Being in a half way pissy mood by now I suggested since he was due to be back there again on the 16th he might as well stay out there for his next three weeks. That way he can make it 7 weeks for him add that to my 6 weeks away and the 3 weeks prior for him that would make about 16 weeks in the last few months we have been apart. Me in a bad mood naw....not. top it off the few weeks I did see him after I got home I was sick...great.

So did I get a lot done while he was gone...ha. I did thoroughly clean the house and I did get my dresser cleaned out and organized but for some reason I didn't get the scrapbooking and designing and organizing my SB stuff done. Every time I would start I'd get frustrated over PSE5 locking up on me or something else so I'd just stop. Jim is going to check the memory on the main computer and see if that can be added to so maybe I won't have that problem again. Also Adobe is offering PSC3 for PSE5 people at a discount $299 which is great since as an upgrade it will cost me $560 or something near that. What I want to know is why Murphy has to strike always when you can't afford to do things.

It's raining out today, what a beautiful site. It poured cats and dogs for a bit and we lost TV and Hughes.net till it slowed down. Small price to pay for the long awaited rain. The rain is now coming down quite steady now and that's what we need.

I did do another LO yesterday with TerrellS memories of a Garden and some sayings that I got in an E-mail, That I call Don't Cry Because it's Over. I also played around with some word art with some of the other sayings. I thought they would be perfect to base LO's on.

I belong to a heritage site that sends me it's messages and I'm sorry to say I don't post very often, but today I opened it to read and found that Lara Payton had posted an ad. She does digital designs and mostly heritage ones has a blog and also belongs to Digital Scrapbook Pages where she sells and in her own store Dusty Bear Gallery. I found a few familiar names at Digital Scrapbook Pages one being Bannerwoman from Moo Two Designs. She was showing some interesting kits including commercial ones.
Lara designs the heritage things that I'd like to learn how to do, by the way.

Yesterday I browsed around Terrell's site checking out places she visits, especially her resource spots...wow interesting to see all that can be done with some good software and a computer like the 3D stuff and the graphics. I'd love to sink my teeth into some of that.

Well Scarlett a person can dream can't they? Ah tomorrow is another day
