I'm getting a surprise

Guess what Terrell is coming to visit me in TN. I didn't want to say anything till she announced it. So since she has I can tell too. During our chats I've mentioned how life here in the boonies is very relaxing and housing is still reasonable so she and Alex started thinking that maybe a trip to TN would be interesting. This comes at a good time for them as their lease will soon be up and the best thing is here you can still get a rent for less than half what they have to pay in Florida. You can even buy houses from $50,000 up. To get this you do have to give up a few of the things you've gotten used to. But most are a stone's throw away so you plan these little trips out instead of going out every day to a mall it might only be once a month. I've gotten used to it. The first year the only thing I really missed was Latte, but now that my friend LeeAnne has opened The Coffee Cabinet I have no problems. I've always been a country girl at heart so for the smell of clean air, fresh hay and the site of hills, pastures, cows and horses it's worth it. Heck some days I can count on one hand the number of cars that go by.

Any way they are on the way leaving FL at 2 this afternoon. It's a long drive so we won't see each other till tomorrow morning some time. I'm praying they will like it here and find someplace they like as I will finally have a friend here with something in common. Even Jim will, as Alex does IT, too. Now I'd really be happy if my friends Sue Bunny and Jo-Anne would come down but no chance in that. Sue maybe if I could convince her to sell her place and retire down here but Jo will never leave her grandbabies. Sue's family has grown and grandchildren have entered college so if anyone could it would be her. Not holding my breath on either. I have one more in Germany, Marcy but she's still tied for a bit when she retires who knows where they will settle. My area isn't for everyone but for someone who's tired of the ratrace and just wants to relax with no giant agenda it's perfect. Of course if you travel a lot like we do it works, too.

We have the RV all done,now and I've spent this afternoon cleaning it. I never checked it after I got back not even giving it a thought that "a man and three cats" lived in it alone for over 6 weeks. How naive can I be thinking he would have cleaned it all up. He said he did the laundry and sheets etc, so I assumed he cleaned and vacumned too. Now remember what ASS U ME means It makes an Ass out of U and me.
Well it's almost ready we will have to load clothes and household stuff and food that's in refridgerater then the kitties that usually is pretty quick. Since we will be with Terrell and Alex and boys most of tomorrow we will either start this tonight or do it Saturday night. Usually we will load up the night before turn the RV in the driveway and sleep in it getting up about 3 or 4 and leave for Oklahoma. Scott has been on the phone and John too as we are going to be very busy out there. Cars are backing up for us to move and store. So it should be right to work. They have hired the new conductor and it's a "she" so pretty soon the new schedule will start. I know Jim is all excited and he wants me with him for the next few months. Usually I don't go from Dec thru March as it's tooooo cold for me. We also don't drive the RV North or even West in Winter months.

Oh another thing about Terrell she's scheming again. Have no idea what...but I'm surmising and keeping it to myself but after the first of the year she has some plans. That will include Tracy and me. For now she's going to be a tease again. Sigh.

Well Scarlett that's all for this evening. It's Friday night and I'd love to convince Jim to go to the Marina for supper. I'd love fish and here in TN its Catfish night. We are usually on the same wave length so I'll send him some vibes............ Well sometimes it works lol.
