Saturday

Yesterday was a very pleasant day. Jim and I did go to Ponca City and the Coffee shop. We relaxed over coffee and perused the used book section where they were preparing for a sale of some of the paperback and hardcover books.I found one not on sale for $3.95 which was half price and they let me have 3 more from the forthcoming sale at the sale price. I bought 2 paperbacks for $1.00 a piece and a hard back for $2.00 not a bad deal. From there we went to a place called Cobb's family restaurant for a nice lunch and then to Wal-Mart where we bought speakers for the computer. We never gave it much thought packing the big computer and leaving the speakers behind as we were used to the other monitor that had built in speakers. I sat her dumbly wondering why the Wavs were not working when I opened by mail and then realized this monitor doesn't have speakers.

Scott made pork chops and rice for dinner so I was treated all day.
I was thrilled to see that Tom Selleck is now on Las Vegas and they had his debut last night. Now if they would give Sam Elliott a series, I'd be in heaven.

Jim was out early to beat the heat and off to bush hog some areas near the tracks. Scott soon left with the high rail truck to do some track inspection. I enjoyed a leisurely coffee then went in and put a pot roast into the crock pot so that when all return at 6 PM supper will be almost ready. Jim was back at noon and I drove him to Braman to meet Scott and returned to the RV.

The rest of the day I plan on relaxing maybe do a little SBing and a little reading.

Oh yes last night I finished up a LO using a freebie posting bunus from the Fall Frenzie coloection for SAS by TerrellS. I entered it in one of the challenges on Moo . Jim managed to find a way for me to get a copy of a fall screen saver I use for it. I just love the shot as it brings back a lot of good memories of home in Ct. Even though fall meant that winter was coming I loved the colors, smells and the things that come with fall. Apple Pie, Apple cider, Hot mulled cider, picking apples, rides through the back roads and the beautiful colors.
