Yesterday was a long day. Jim left at 8AM and didn't get home till about 8 PM last night. I spent the day doing laundry and being bored out of my mind. For some reason I couldn't concentrate enough to get any LO's done and it doesn't take long to clean 38' of motor coach. I did watch a bit of TV since we have HBO, Starz, Showtime etc so I'm taking advantage of it. I bored myself so much I fell asleep for two hours. i guess it's a flip of the coin to be at home or here. I have things to do at home but no one to share with and here I have nothing to do and someone to share with (sometimes) lol go figure.
Today The "boys" didn't have to go off RRing early so Jim has said we can have a treat and go to Ponca City. So I get to go to the little coffee shop we found a few trips back. They have pretty good latte, good books and a cute kitchen boutique. Ponca also has Super Wall-Mart, Chilli's and Lowe's so a little civilization blooms. I'm missing the Jump Start restaurant as it has shut down and is now awaiting a rebirth if John can either sell it or have someone new run it. Not that the food was so good but it gave us a place to relax and hang with a few of the local people we've met.
All's quiet on the computer as Terrell is temporarily out of internet reach as she revamps her system, so we keep in touch by Blackberry. Tracy is back from her trip so as soon as she's settled she will be scrapping up a storm. I think she was anyway as I've found some new LO's done while she was away at her Mom's.
I was going to do a bunch of downloading but, I'm thinking after talking to Terrell, I might not be needing a lot of it. We talked by phone yesterday and I think once she gets settled she will help me learn to do a lot by myself. Like make brushes etc. I know how to design paper but I need to learn more on embellishments and I think she might be able to show me a thing or two on that. I have said I do want to learn to be a designer...just so I can...lol for now I'm a designer's designer lol. So for the time being I guess I should just learn some new tricks and get some new ideas. Terrell is still dropping hints on new things to come and even though she isn't saying what, I'm thinking we will be doing some work together in the scrapbook world of design or who knows maybe a rich Uncle will pass away or we'll win the lottery and we can open our little dream...we both share now a little quaint cafe with books, internet, designs and coffee.
Hey Scarlett I can dream can't I? Tomorrow is another day.
