Sorry about that. Friday was a busy day as we prepared for our departure back to Oklahoma Saturday. We got up early and started getting things ready to take our to the RV, then we decided to run down to the Coffee Cabinet to say good bye to our friends. When we got back to the house Jim went to the dump and found he had lost his wallet or left it at the Coffee Cabinet which TG he did and they had found it. So while he went back I started to bring out the clothes, at least mine. LOL I put the fresh sheets on the bed and cleaned the place up a bit. I usually do a quick job when we get home and then a few days before really go over it as it only gets dusty and dirty while it sits. This time we had rain all week so I didn't get to do it. By the time he got back I had gotten it done bed, new towels and the rest of my things our and put away. We then brought the food out and all three computers, printer and portable hard drive. While we were doing all of this Chessie was following me around the house jumping in and out of her cat carrier afraid we might leave her behind. Shadow was trying to ignore the situation as she would just as soon stay home as would TJ who was hiding in his bed on top of the kitchen cabinets. Mind you they don't really want to stay home but until they get in the RV they have to play hard to get. Chessie is the only one who doesn't do this as all I have to do is kick a carrier or move it in any way and she's in it. They are the last to get loaded since we are in and out so much and I don't want the chance of one getting out. They have never even tried to get out but I'm very cat conscious. We finally got started about 3 o'clock so much for our early 10 AM thought, but it was run run all day from 8 in the AM.
We had intentions of making it to Russelville, Ak which is 6 hours from the house but Jim was getting a little tired so we stopped for an hour's rest after about 100 miles into AK. then continued to Russelville where we got some shut-eye planning on leaving at 5 AM. Somehow the alarm got messed up and it was 8AM when we woke up. Next stop is always just outside of Oklahoma City for fuel then its about 2 hours give or take to Blackwell. So it was about 2:30 PM when we got backed into our spot and settled.
So this starts our 3 weeks in Oklahoma.
