Scarlett is always right

Things did look a bit better today especially after we got the phone call from Jim's Doctor. Nothing was found in the Cat Scan so we are breathing better here in the hills. I'm sure that's part of the reason I was so depressed besides the fact the holidays are coming. I'm one of those souls that gets depressed every Christmas season. Making matters worse is the fact that my Dad passed away on New Years Day in 1989 and like I said yesterday the fact that Jim will be away doesn't help.
He's talking about getting the Christmas things out tomorrow so between that and Scarlett I'm hoping for a better mood. I'm still trying to figure out just where I can put a tree this year. I rearranged my living room during the year and filled the spot where the tree would have gone. We are planning on putting it up when Jim comes home instead of now and at least I shouldn't get sick of it like I did last year.
I made turkey soup with our turkey bones and it was delicious. The rest of the meat has been frozen so that I will have some mini meals while Jim is gone. Turkey is one thing I love and don't get sick of. (usually) :)

Scrapping has taken the back seat for a bit, but I soon will have to get serious about that. Terrell and I met over coffee this AM each with our computers at the coffee shop so that we could get faster downloads and uploads. She really is going nuts without a good connection at home. Both her boys started school in McEwen today. So bit by bit she will get their lives back to normal.

I guess I'll turn in and start fresh tomorrow.
