Yipee!

11:43 PM and we just got the internet back. They came for the third time today at 4PM and he was here till after 11 tonight. We know have fast internet, faster than before. lol It's almost as good as DSL well, almost. They changed the outdoor unit again (second time this week) and another indoor unit(also second time this week) They spent the whole week trying to get the things to work right. They also put us on a newer satellite.

The first thing I found was that the LO I put up yesterday, Santa & Me won LO of the day yesterday, so I was doubly thrilled.

It has been a tough 3 week period with the internet coming and going. With Jim needing to be online most of the day we had to get up at an early hour and hurry down to the Coffee Cabinet to get on line. I guess we have to get after Hughes Net for some credit on the bill. Wish they would reimburse us for the Coffee and lunches LOL.

Interesting I have just made contact with another old high school friend. He just told me he's on his third marriage after going to Shanghai and returning with a bride. I'm waiting now for an e-mail with some photos of them. He's retired Military and a retired Corrections officer living in Nevada.

The other cool thing is our neighbors gave us a gift card to Wal-Mart so I put it to use and used it to get a passport for my lap top so I spent the last two days moving all my scrapbook stuff over to it from our other portable hard drive. It is the cutest and is nice and small so it fits just right in my carry case.

Tomorrow is social time as we are going to the Country Club for dinner with friends. From what I understand I'm in for a treat. LOL The Country Club is not like the normal club. No minks here lol.
