why do we hurt the ones we love

I was going to blog but ......Somehow I lost my interest . Sometimes you learn things you really wish you hadn't and you just feel like giving up.

Today I will just contemplate that statement...why do we hurt the ones we love...Is it that we don't really love them? Or lost interest? What causes such disruptive behavior. I guess we each have our own believes...what is hurtful to one isn't to the other...God help the one who is hurt as it takes special strength to get over it or go on.

Well I typed into Google and found the following:

Because we know they will tolerate it most of the time
Because they are the only ones that have unrealistic expectations of who we should be.
Because we have the power to, it's so sad but true. The people we don't care about & who don't care about us, we could never hurt but the people who we want to hurt the least we end up hurting the most
Because we know their vulnerabilities.

Oh well still doesn't give me my answer
