pampered pet

Today I feel like a pampered pet. My friend Joyce has her nails done and a pedicure just about every two weeks. She had a misunderstanding with her manicurist of a few years (she had made an appointment and was told that by the manicurist that she had forgotten to write it down after 3 reminders) So when she got there they told her she would have to reschedule(btw the girl was doing one of her friends) Well anyway Joyce said forget it and took someones advice to try the OP shop in Dickson which she did and had the best manicure and pedicure she ever had. It included soaking and sea salt rubs, massage chair and massage of the legs, feet and hands plus lotions etc. Plus it was less money and longer time and nicer job. She kept raving about it and I said I had never had a pedicure. She was amazed at that and a few days later she called and said she wanted to treat me to a manicure. After thinking on it I said OK then after listening to her decided I'd treat myself to the pedicure too. Well for my anniversary Joyce gave me the gift of a pedicure and I gave myself the gift of a manicure. OMG I was in my glory. I now have beautiful French manicured toenails and nails. I feel so special. I didn't get acrylics but just had them do a French manicure with my own nails. How's the song go "I feel pretty, oh so pretty" Joyce laughed at me and called me "High Maintenance", my knickname for her. I could get used to this, kids. I wonder why I never did this before. I used to get acrylics but they ruined my nails so I stopped and from then on did my own manicures. Oh! but I could get used to this again
Just in case your wondering...who cares or why would I blog this? Well you would have to really know me. "She" rarely does anything like this...oh yeah I put polish on my toes but a manicurist Ha! I wouldn't spend the money on such frivolities so for me this is headline material especially for those closet to me that are saying "No Way, She'd never do that" "Yup, "she" did!
