here are two Lo's done with TerrellS new kit Summertime available at Divine Digitals
Jim, feeling sorry for me in this heat bought me one of those small pools at Wal-Mart. It's only 12' by 3 ft deep and fits on our patio. We didn't want to go through the expense of a big pool right now....down the line ...maybe! I managed to document the putting together of the thing and had Jim take my picture standing in it like a little kid waiting for it to fill. We started to fill it hoping that the well could support it but not holding our breath on that. Good thing as the pump shut down after 15 mins. The recovery rate on our well is very slow so that then left us with a pool and no water.
Yesterday we rode around trying to find someone to fill it. we were told the volunteer fire dept would do it for $100 but when we called them they said no they weren't doing it anymore. The pool place in town said their guy was in KY so it would be a week. Someone suggested we rent a truck from the Coop with a tank on it and buy the water from the town or use someones house water to fill the tank. The coop didn't have such an animal but did know someone who filled pools. Hip Hip Hurray! It was also another volunteer fire dept and he showed up last night with a tank full of water...fresh spring water which they emptied in the pool almost filling it. They then went down to the creek and refilled the truck and finished the job. So last night Jim and I christened the pool. BRRRRRRR. LOL. I haven't uploaded my photos but will and do a few more LO's. I took photos of the truck arriving and the whole process.

Today is Friday the 13th and also the day that my bike is supposed to ship. Not holding my breath on this. I do hope it does as Jim is supposed to leave Wed for OK. and I'm hoping it gets here by then.

later.
