another week gone by

time seems to be going pretty fast and life here in Waverly has been topsy turvy. I did do a few LO's for Terrell
Castles using Designs by TerrellS fairy tales kit and a photo of cousin David Shillabeer from Scotland of one of their castles and using her Christmas in July mega kit from Divine Digital and an e-mail photo Little Angel Tea Party




The coffee shop fiasco had taken a lot out of me. Last Saturday there was a blow up between the owners of Our Daily Bread and the Coffee Cabinet that looked like the Coffee Cabinet would be closing down. It seemed the new owners of Our Daily Bread started brewing coffee and selling it. The Coffee Cabinet still operating under their old lease had an understanding that they wouldn't sell food and the Daily bread wouldn't sell coffee. So that started it. After a little mediating by (me opening my big mouth to Joyce) my friend Joyce tried to help mend fences. So all week it has been an off and on thing with Leeann planning on closing down this weekend before her next rent was due. For those not knowing they share in the same building so it can get touchy. Hopefully they have solved it with Leeann staying at least with another years lease.

Most of you already know that the coffee shop has been my sanity saver. It's been my other home as it's like Cheers the place where everyone knows your name. Most of you also know that I'm weird in that I suffer from a phobia where I find it very difficult to go places by myself and that I've managed to be able to go there without any problems. This has been a help while Jim is away.......telephone call.....Oh God! Joyce just called to tell me Leeann just stopped by to tell her Greg called a meeting this AM and told her he changed his mind and wasn't going to allow her to stay so they are now closed officially starting Monday whey they will go in and take out the cabinets and all the equipment. How rotten for them and all of us who get joy in going there.

Well at least if she does find somewhere else she won't have a lease problem here.I hope she does find something soon but it doesn't look good. She did take it OK as she still wasn't happy about how things were going, anyway. There is a strip mall being built down near Wal-mart which would be ideal for her if she can get in on the ground floor as there is no place to eat anywhere near us. I sincerely hope she does.


Oh well I guess I don't have to worry about gas $$$ anymore as I'll be home except for the library and my visits to Joyce. So much for my social life. Bummer.
