Real winner of a weekend it has rained steady since we got here. We did have to move to the pavement as where we were threatened to flood and this AM I was glad we did as a tree limb had fallen...a large one right where the other guy was parked. Too bad as it is a pretty spot and we would have had a good time. Instead it's just damp and miserable. I did get to go to dinner three times and breakfast LOL. Feed me and I'm happy especially if the food is good, and it has been. Last night it was Pizza at Lino's I had pasta and Lasagna instead. To me Lino's sucks in my opinion though but way better than TN or OK. There is a place called Joe's Place that has a variety but the best hotdogs since I left home. LOL AH burnt the fries but I woofed the two hotdogs down and no indigestion. They are Vienna beef.....never seen them anywhere else. The Cafe 20 is a newer place for us but I thought I was having an orgasm eating the steak. OMG it was soooooo good. Steak dinner was $22 and an open face was $10 with fries so Jim and I both opted for that, since we hadn't eaten there before. I couldn't see paying the higher and getting a lousy steak. It was 12 oz and way too big for me anyway. I was shocked to get what we did. 10 oz of NY sirloin at least 1 inch thick and tender too. We will go back again. I ate every bit of that steak and only a few of the waffle fries also had clam chowder (which stunk) but after the steak I'd forgive that.

Still don't know if we are pulling out tonight or tomorrow as since the weather is bad in Oklahoma plans are changing by the minute.
I'll have tons of laundry to do even though we did it before leaving Oklahoma with the weather and getting soaked we have changed a lot.
Jim has been playing train even in the rain..what's the adage of not knowing enough to come in out of the rain? Men and their toys.

We did just get some bad news from Oklahoma/ KS more washouts and right where we just fixed. We haven't hear if that bridge is intact yet but near there about 100 ft of track is hanging in the air. We are waiting to hear about the other bridge over the Chikaskia River which goes through town. Unfortunately the engine was left in town so there will be no way to get it out, this time. Looks like our time in Waverly will be cut short as Jim will have to get back there ASAP. We do have to go home for a few things before heading out. If he has to be there a bit I will probably go back with him. I guess with the fires in WA and this we aren't having a great year....just when things were going so good too.
