You should see baby RJ. He is the happiest little critter. He's prancing around sporting his new breakaway collar with his personal name tag with phone number and bell. You would swear he though he was one of the big kitties now. Now if only I can convince him to sleep all night.
Don't read I'm ranting again.....
We went to Ft. Campbell to pick up our meds yesterday and made the stop at Pet Smart for RJ. When we got home I looked at the new meds the Dr. prescribed for my arthritis and Ackk double argggg it's a prednisone. I wish he had told me I would have put my foot down. It's not just a pill a day either it's like 6 of them. Do you know what Prednisone does? Bloat and I mean bloat. In a few days I will have put on 20 lbs...the very 20 lbs it has taken me almost 4 years to loose. I'll be looking like the Goodyear Blimp. NOT...yeah I know it's for the inflamation but I can hardley walk now add 20 lbs and I'll be worse and no saying of the depression which I don't need. So I have made the decision not to take it. He did give me some gel to rub on and believe it or not it does help a wee bit. The appt for the surgeon has been made for the 12th and I'm already trying to get out of it to Jim's chagrin. I just don't want steroids or surgery...don't know what I want...I just know if they want me on prednisone it "ain't happening". I told Jim there is no sense of me going to the surgeon if I'm not going to have surgery. We know it's arthritis for sure and the cartilage loss is getting worse there is no miracle here except surgery . Oh well bitching isn't going to help so enough on that.

Doctors really should learn to be a little more detailed when they give new scripts. They just want ot give you something and kick you out so they can get on to the next person.
