Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow

Working on another tag. They send us tubes each day this one was of the girl and a horse. I got the idea to mist another of David Shillabeers photos, this time Drummond Castle, I believe, and put her over it. I knew she couldn't be the Laird's daughter so I dubbed her The coachman's daughter...now I guess I'll have to write a novel for it. LOL.

I'm still in a quandry about tags and their use. But they are addicting. A lot of the girls will use them to make stationary to use in Incredimail or to make "pressies" which I gather are just little tags to tag onto a mail. Such as putting your name on it or something like Thank- You, Welcome, Beautiful, or Awesome to name a few. Then when you comment on someone's work you just put the tag instead of writing. So much to learn.

Most of the tags come with a copyright or something which you have to include and when you use one you aren't supposed to use two copyright signatures on them. I can say tagged by, or tag by but that's about it plus you shouldn't use two tubes unless they both have the same copywright. Different than a SB page where I can put all my credits. Now if I do a collection of them I can put a copyright into a TOU.  So that's the problem I ran into with this. I wanted to put a copyright from David on the tube of the Castle, but it wasn't allowed. Since it is only shown there and no one can use it, a note like here is ok as David has allowed me to use the photos he sends. The story would change if I offered up a collection for others to use. That's where the copyright thing comes in and the TOU. Clear as Mud isn't it?

Right now I'm only doing them for me and not sharing them. If it comes to my doing them for others I would only use my own things with David's photo tube then I can put a copyright with Davids name. Something he and I will have to work on.

Now I can see David reading this and saying "what the H is she talking about...pressies, tags etc." That's OK Dave it's a learning thing for both of us. By the way no $$ is involved with this. If a tag, siggie or pressie is shared it is that the collection isn't sold. That opens a bigger kettle of fish. LOL.

For now all of these tags are for my enjoyment of creation.

I used David's photos because the tube of the girl needed something great and his photos are. I don't have the software to make people like her other wise it would have been something of mine and something of Davids. Elements I can do people I can't. LOL. There again something else entirely and another avenue.
