Happy New Year

Happy New Year to all of my friends and their  familys. Jim and I spent a nice quiet evening with sandwhiches for supper and then later we made some drinks and appetizers. As the night wore on....boring for TV all reruns he went on his puter and I started to fall asleep...a regular thing. I tried to find something interesting like they used to have on New Years Eve to bring in the New Year but couldn't. I managed to put the rerun of Carson Daly's show in Times Square on ( we are tin Central Time Zone) and woke up five minutes to 12 our time. Jim and I stood under the mistletoe and brought the New Year in. He went back to his computer and I went to bed. Whoo Whoo  big night. The days of party's are long gone. He said we should go to Nashville some NY and bring in the new year. Interesting but, a waste if I'm going to fall asleep. LOL

Anyway it's nice and chilly here this AM. The kitty's are all fed and Jim and I are back at the computers. He's doing his train search and me checking my group mails. We ended up buying a ham slice since in the South Krakus hams  (canned ham) are unheard of. All we could find were whole hams and spiral cuts and since we did that last year and hated it we ended up with a nice thick cut slice.  Just enough for two people and no fuss...heat and serve and tradition is semi followed. Spinach and boiled potatoes will go with it and maybe even coleslaw. Simple. The tree has to come down and the outside decorations put away, too eithjer today or the next few days.

Next item first thing I did was pick on of my newest graphics for the January graphic contest at PSPX3. This month it is called Scenic Views so what better to use but one of David Shillabeers great views of Scotland.
Here is my pick that I entered.
