Yesterday, Today & Tomorrow

Having memories of home again. My high school group just sent a message regarding an old friend and neighbor's birthday..Paul Lange. Paul lived a few houses away from me and I remember his dog Lucky coming to visit every day. He/she not sure which made the rounds every morning and my house was one of his stops. Funny the things that pop into your head. I also remember Paul's family having the only camper...way back before camping and RV's were so popular. In my mind it was one of the silver ones but you know how that gets. LOL Ah yes and I also remember the best Halloween Partie held in Paul's basement. Real funny how I can't remember where I put my car keyes but can remember that.  On our end of the street their was Ray, Linda, Paul and me then up the street we had Grace, Patty Lake (now passed away) another Linda and Lucille(who was older) Besides Lucky we had Hico a real mean Police Dog who thankfully was chained but did break loose once in a while to torment any kid that walked by. I was mortified of him as he did get me once....never cared for dogs after that at least Shepards.

Well Jim is off running his railroad again at least his part. They are finally (the state and Fema) getting the river bridge area washout fixed...about time. It has really hampered the earnings as we've had to lease another Locomotive since ours has been stranded on the other side of the washout...that and not being able to move cars in and out. it will be wonderful to drop the Embargo and get moving again.

I certainly do miss not having our RV and not being able to travel with him any more. It was sometimes a pain getting things ready and then unpacked when we got back but well worth it. At least we were together and the four kitties always looked forward to the trip too.

Sometime today I need to do some creating again I owe some scrapbook pages to my friend Tracy in Australia and she has just done a new kit that I'm looking forward to using. I also need to do some tutorial work and a few tags for my Tagger group.

Talked to my frind and neighbor Tracy the other day while we walked about horses again and she said once we get fenced we could take a couple of hers and keep them here to see if we really wanted to do it. I'm still not sure as if we do get another RV we will be limited on what we can do. One thought was a horse trailer that has a built in RV compartment and bring the horses with us. It could work once the company moves its storage as we could park there and I could have a ring set up for the horses too. I think that's just visions of grandeur though. LOL.
