Prairie gatherings

Yesterday was an interesting day Jim got a call that one of the signals was going crazy so it was an early Sunday morning start. It turned out it wasn't something he could fix right then, so it looks like today will be a busy day for him. I might just go along for the ride. Tomorrow we will be taking the RV over to Ponca City to have both sides of the windshield repaired. This will be warranty work as it was just done the last trip out and the company who did it didn't know Jack. The left side is popping out and the right side cracked from stress. So that will be a few hours at least plus the breaking down "camp" and setting up again. Wednesday they are hoping that the sand car comes and the other cars that are to go will go. Then either Thursday or Friday we have to head for home. We both have Doctors appointments next week then a trip to the base to get medications and sometime later in the week back to OK.

Also, yesterday I spent the day and evening on pins and needles as thunderstorms were rolling in all day and treats of tornado type winds . So , after early AM I didn't get much computer stuff done at all. They were calling for golf ball hail, heavy rain, winds and all that good stuff. I could swear the thunder was inside with me as I've never heard thunder like that. I guess that comes from having nothing but flat land all around. Scary to this Yankee girl. Tampa used to have some spectacular lightning shows but not boomers like this. The lightning was more like heat lightning stuff.

Zumba oooh interesting. The today show is showing it this AM. It's a Latin beat exercise that is like dancing. They just showed this Mom who was over 200 lbs who started doing it and she's lost 60 lbs and looks great. One woman and her husband in Ohio opened a studio in Ohio and has over 3000 people enrolled. It looked like real fun and I can see why people like it. I'd probably have a heart attack. lol Reminds me of when the Twist started, which by the way is still good for exercise. When I was going to Curves it was incorporated in some of the moves we did on the rest stations.

The other day we picked up these cute little folding cubes for the kitties. They are like the pop up type hampers made of mesh but made of nylon and have three holes on three sides for the kitties to go in and out. They can be fixed together to make a kitty tunnel so are great for kitties to play. Since they fold down to 6x6 square they are great for the RV. Our "kids" are having the time of their lives with them and they only cost $3.99 each. You know kitties in boxes well same idea. I think it was the best investment in a long time. I'll have to get some pics to scrap of them.
Ask and you shall receive. Jim to the rescue with my cam camera and Chessie a "ham" as usual. I keep forgetting about that handy little gadget.

Well for now that's it, I have to get my hair dried, etc. so later!
