Good morning

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at PhotobucketAh coffee.
For some reason I couldn't sleep. It couldn't be the sound of 5 dump trucks up an running, could it? Chuck's still working on his "pond" It is even deeper than before and now they are trying to smooth it out on the bottom but the efforts have been hampered by rain filling the pond and them having to drain it and dry it out. Yup and guess where they drain goes, across the street through our side property. That's where Chuck rerouted the drain so that it goes straight through instead of meandering across the side acre. It's not a new thing just in a different area and also it only has water when the rains are bad and we get run off from the hills. We plan on planting the area with rye or winter wheat. It's also the area that if we ever get horses we will fence off for either pasture or a riding ring.

Anyway it get light around 6 AM so I wake up automatically and not because of the trucks.
I wanted to get an early start on the storage area of my pantry. I washed one load of dishes and pans and am on another. It was one way to organize, anyway. No sign of Micky last night, unless kitties were so tired they let him have free reign. Earlier in the evening Shadow was making the rounds like she was interested in something but nothing was caught.

Since I'm in organize mode my mind is really going. I keep thinking of the master bedroom and what I want to do. Easy changes for now painting the border and adding another shelf in the closet. While we are at it I'd like to do the same in the laundry room. We'll see if the purse can take this on. I told Jim last night that this will be our third Christmas here and I can't believe that the living room project is still not finished and it's time to paint again. He had promised to get it done two trips ago but he isn't very motivated to do it. It looks like I will probably have to get some kind of job and hire someone to finish it, as I know I'm not capable on doing it myself. I have no idea how to measure or use the tools. At this point as I said it is just getting the molding up in the hallways, around the window over the sink and above the refrigerator where he took the cabinet out. I was hoping that it would have been done for the holidays. It would have been nice for once if we could have people over. I would have liked to have had an open house last year for the holidays but that came and went and this year will do the same. I know $$ has a lot to do with it, but even when we had the money to complete it nothing happened. I'm thinking if it's not computer or railroad it "ain't" happening. I guess I'm asking too much and being a nag, but my home is important to me even though it isn't to him. It does make me realize that I'm on the bottom of the list. Which also makes me wonder why I did this. Maybe I should have kept my house in Florida at least it was presentable to have people come over.

Boy am I bitchy today. I must have gotten up on the wrong side of the bed. Well looking at the clock it's now almost 8 AM. Jim's still in bed and I'm still waiting on the dishwasher.

Wow can't believe it we had yet another invite for Thanksgiving. This time it was Tracy and T, the people who live behind us over the hill and thru the woods. Jim sent her a thanks and told her we do have plans but that we'd stop to say Hi. They are building a barn and I know Jim will want to help on that. He really enjoys helping out the neighbors and I don't mind because they are all great people. Sigh.
Well back for more coffee and more dishes to do.

Here is the one LO I did for Moo's challenges. Ah that little smirk, I just love Sam Elliott. The challenge was to do a LO with our first heart throb. Since I didn't have any pictures of him I did Sam. Of course Jim's my real heart throb but..............sigh.
The kit used is by Gloria Val Verde called Crimson and Sage It was the Needle in the haystack for November so it was Free.
