Normally I lead a very quiet life and rarely go anywhere. If you read yesterday you know I went to a Christmas lunch for my new friend Joyce and I really had a wonderful time. Today I went to the Coffee Cabinet to download some things and had a great chat with Janet of the Daily Bread who invited me to spend Sunday with her. Joyce, her husband Rob, Janet and I are going to Franklin to check out a housing area that might interest Joyce and Rob who are selling their place here. After that Janet and I are going to a play at the Friendship Outreach Center. While I was there Joyce and Rob came in and they invited Jim and I to their place on Christmas. I've gone from a social recluse to a social butterfly in three days. LOL I've had to turn that one down as we are planning a visit to Terrell and Alex's. So I told Joyce we would come by to wish them Merry Christmas, either before or after dinner. Then we have New Year's Eve at the Daily Bread from 6-9 PM. It should be a fun season after all.
I talked to Jim today and they are expecting about 6-8 inches of snow out in Oklahoma tonight. Yuko, after waht those poor people just experienced they don't need this. Oklahoma city still doesn't have full power since the ice storm. Where Jim is the ice is all gone so at least their won't be a surface of ice under the snow. I just want it gone so he can come home to me on Thursday.
I had planned on doing the tree decorations on Sunday but with the new plans I'll have to change this around. Tomorrow is Santa Day at the Coffee Cabinet so I have to go and try to get some photos. I'll have to fit the tree in somewhere between now and Thursday.
I also have some new kits from Terrell to play with. It's good to be back.
Thanks Scarlett, as always you are right ...Tomorrow is another day.
