Tommy is more vocal and his eyes look brighter. His legs seem to be healing well. I'm hoping he will be back to normal soon. he remains in captivity with his sun lamp accompanied all day by his companion Puddy. After this I have visions of neither cat leaving. Since his illness he has been given the more expensive brand of kitty food that our babies ear for a snack...Cluck o Doodle moist food in a packet. The house kitties share one pack of this a day more of a supplement than a steady diet as they only like to lick the juice and not really eat the stuff. The newly adopted strays relish it andd think they are in heaven. I've given it to Tom to make sure he gets some moisture and to make sure he eats and of course Pud shares his treat. I'm hoping they will revert back to their old stand by meow mix after he is better.
TJ is tolerating this whole thing along with Chessie who has accepted this. Now Shadow is different. The mother instinct has come out on this sweet kitty again. Each time we go out to take care of Tommy she runs to the door and hops up on the barstool that sits by the door and patiently watches Tommy's treatment. She then stands on her hind feet running her front feet down the glass letting us know she is there. She does that to us whenever she is in and we are out letting us know she wants to be with us.
Last night we joined Joyce and Rob at the Elks club where Jim has filed an application to join with Rob as his sponsor. Jim and Joyce joined some others and played Texas Holdem while Rob and I watched over cocktails. Today Joyce and I took a ride to Dickson to pick up some things she needed and had lunch at the Chinese Buffet. The food wasn't too bad and we had a nice time.
later.
