It's been over a week

I guess I've heard about it. LOL Both my friend Marcy and my cousin David have asked what is wrong....no blog. I'll admit I have been bad about keeping up with it. I have done about 5 LO's with TerrellS new Time Passages kit with my heritage photos.

Reflections of you in me was done for a challenge of the same name at Divine Digital for Terrell using Time Passages It brings back lots of memories of my dad..he's the one on the painted pony me, I'm the little fatty on the dark pony. Going through my photos I found these too and figured they would fit thi challenge. There's a lot of family resemblance in those and the other photos. I used to think "why did they dress me in those funny clothes'' when I'd look at those photos in the album, thinking they were of me. We shared the same squint and frown among the same likes and dislikes. There was never any doubt who my daddy was. I was daddy's little girl for sure.

Maternal Matriarch using the same kit is of Maria Othen my GG grandmother. It's funny how much I've learned of my Mom's dad's side of the family, and it was all a fluke. David, my cousin in Scotland, Maggie and Natalie of the US are three of the cousins I've found along with Dora and a few others.

Joyce's dog Mayla has been pretty sick and has been making daily trips to the vet. She suffers from Cushings and has an infection in her kidneys too. This week we have made a few 70 mile trips to a Franklin specialist in the hopes of a miracle for her. She seemed to perk up then she slid back again. We are praying for that miracle to happen.

Jim is back at home at last for a few weeks anyway. It's good to have him back again. Too bad we've had nothing but lousy weather since he got here. The grass is nice and green and growing lol and unless it dries out he can't get it cut. I'm sure that disappoints him. lol

The news is now out that the Coffee Cabinet will be moving as soon as they find or build a new place. I for one am thrilled for them and can't wait as what they are telling me it sounds like the new place will be great. Different from what it is now...a Bistro..that should shock Waverly.
