I guess I've gone to weekly blogs

I seem to forget to blog. I guess it goes with my CRS. Anyway, it's dull as usual here in Blackwell, OK. I can't help but hope someday this poor town wakes up again. It's so sad to drive through and see the empty buildings and think about what a wonderful place this used to be. So many of the towns here are like that, though ...almost ghost towns. I do love to read about there history's though, and they were such wonderful places at one point in time. So sad as these pioneers struggled so hard to make a life for themselves and their family. I close my eyes and dream about what used to be and I do love to gaze at the fields of wheat etc. and think about who once roamed on them. Oklahoma is Native American country and at least there are still some Native Americans living here.

My peaceful days here at the BNG office have ceased as they are building a school in the wheat field that I loved to gaze atn now all I can do is watch as dump trucks, dozers and backhoes tear up that beautiful site. But that is progress we do need the schools and they have to go somewhere. All I hear all day is the sound of progress and all I smell and breathe is diesel fuel and dust. Sigh. The only good is the school, when done will cut off the wind that buffets the motorcoach all day.

As for Jim's company they are still working on some up and coming projects that may change all our lives. One of the new company's...already has a logo made up ( by me) in case they do vote on going on with plans. They have come a long way since the opening of the BNG, and the EWG has now been running for almost a year. I guess in the next month we will know about the third company and who knows maybe even two more after that. Thank goodness each board member wears a different cap and each brings with them a lot of different experience.

I have managed to do two layouts. I'm also waiting for my inspiration to kick in for Mayla's page. I have some thoughts but need that kick that happens when I get inspired to make it special.
thought I'd use Terrell's Grunge Girl for my jeep and then got the inspiration to do one on the scooter I'd like to get. I still have my motorcycle license from years past and have figured I'd need at least 150CC so the little Metro Honda scooter is out for me as it's a moped class of 40CC. This little number comes equipped with windshield, trunk and a radio. LOL and is about a thousand less than the Honda's I have looked at....and is a lot prettier. I would love the candy apple red but would opt for black as second choice. Can't you see it now!
