My life is a saga

Well last Friday we put up on eo those blow up the top ring pools from Wal-Mart. My advice.......run don't walk away from them they are trouble. Got it all set and 2000gals of water put in and the next day we notice the ring won't keep air. We had to blow it up every hour. I was lounging quite nicely in it ..eyes closed floating away in bliss while Jim was cutting grass when I heard this weird noise...I opened my eyes to see the side down and water rushing out with me getting ready to go with it. I jumped off my float at a speed I didn't know I had and held it up while Jim who was just passing by saw it and came running to blow the ring up again. It was decided that we would have to get a replacement first so we could transfer the 2000 gal. that we had to purchase. We bought a larger one this time 15X4 and not blow up but still a cheaper pool since we still can't afford the good one...but this should still suffice. So we set it up in about an hours time and proceeded to transfer the H2O. I won't go into that fiasco but we did get most of it out. The other pool then was taken back to the store. We have since learned they have nbothing but problems with them. We had Mr Koos from the fire dept pt in another 2000 gal. It can hold more but for now this will do.

We finally heard that my scooter has been shipped and Jim talked to the shipper who announced they have no straight body truck to bring it to the house. There is no way a tractor trailer can get it here ( as promised by Scooter Nitro) Our friend Lee Ann from the Coffee Cabinet has offered her house for the drop off. So ,till Jim gets back it will be stored there. It is scheduled to come in on Tues. the 24th. yipee. Jim has left and will be back in about 2 weeks. Sigh! Lee Ann has a big driveway so before I ride it home can practice with it. Till then I guess I can visit it. LOL Unless I find someone to un-crate it and put my mirrors on.

OMG Doreen, that post gave me visions of your surfing out of the pool on a wave. You must have been so disappointed with it especially with all the trouble it took to get it filled. Exciting that your scooter is closer to being with it's mummy!! Have a great week hun
