Well I managed to download Ambowife's latest kit
Joyful Journey available here and here. It's a beautiful kit...nice and soft. Anyway I managed to download and do these two LO's all in the same day. She'll probably pass out.
Life on the ranch has been very interesting for sure. Learning about donkey's in itself was fun. Great to see the action they take at predators...makes me breathe easy knowing she is there on guard protecting Lady Irish. She's also a little cutie.
I've got my new job down to a regular routine now...up in the AM throwing on work jeans and sweatshirt, feeding kitties, putting coffee on...boots and out the door in 20 mins to feed. Greeting the girls who by now are stomping at nickering at me as I walk to the shed to get their feed. They both have their own gate hanging feeders which I keep in the shed. Molly is blue and Lady of course has green. Once I hang their feeders they are content to eat while I trudge to the other end of the pasture to turn on their water. While the water is filled I go back and throw out their hay and then return to turn off the water. By this time the "girls" have finished eating and I return to take down their feeders and return them to the shed. I am now free to go in and have my coffee and check my mail....25 mins tops. We are then free till 4 PM when we do the same again. This also gives me time during the day to visit with them during the day to bond.
I'm loving my new life but I am really worried about what will happen in January when I go to the hospital for my hip operation. Recovery time is at least 6 weeks and I will be so afraid of doing walking on the uneven surfaces I do now. I'm also praying that I'll finally be able to lift my leg up and over the saddle...having to mount using a picnic table LOL is not my idea of mounting and trying to get off is another site to behold. I guess we will cross that bridge when I come to it.
